The engineer hat has remained a wardrobe staple for over a year now, and for good reason. It has become a fall staple that can really enhance your outfit. It’s a chic addition that looks good on everyone with every hairstyle (also the perfect fix to a bad hair day!). You can wear it with a simple jean jacket & leggings for a casual look, or even in a professional setting!
Glen plaid has made its way into our hearts this season, and there’s a number of ways you can bring it into your wardrobe. I’ve paired mine with a simple white blouse, but the possibilities are endless. You can pair them with a graphic tee and sneakers for a casual look, or a matching blazer and heels to dress it up! As we are all getting older, it is not exactly acceptable to wear jeans to an interview for a job or internship. Having a pair of glen plaid pants can easily turn your outfit from casual to professional.
This outfit is from H&M–they have so many great clothing staples at low prices. Their business-casual selection is great, so think about this store to prepare for those upcoming interviews. The hat is from Nordstrom, and they have several other fabrics and colors (including a black leather one that is super cute).
I know interviews and big-girl jobs can be scary, but a great way to always boost your confidence is to wear a super chic outfit. Don’t be afraid to stray away from the classic pantsuit or skirt; have fun with different patterns and textures! An out-of-the-box, fashionable outfit might even make you stand out from other applicants!
Let me know if you would like to see some more business-casual outfits or more professional looks!
